Carved Wooden Vajrapani Mask
This wooden mask is hand carved and painted in Nepal. This mask shows Vajrapani, an early Boddhisatva who is widely represented in Buddhist art across Asia. In most classic Buddhist depictions Vajrapani is one of the three main guardians of the Buddha, while in some cultures he is seen as a guardian deity of temples and shrines.

Hand made Himalayan masks
These masks are made in the traditional Himalayan Nepalese style. Each one is intricately hand carved and then painted with vibrant colours. Their distinct patina comes from freshly painted masks being left to set in the sun for 10 days after painting.
